March 2026 / Customer experience
From reservation to results
The customer experience is being built as one connected path: ZIP demand, early-access deposit, host scheduling, testing day, results, and follow-up tracking.
Product focus: reservation flow, lifecycle messages, and results path

The reservation is not just a form. It is the first signal that a route, a host, and a customer might line up.
Why early access starts with ZIP demand
VitalScan needs to know where customers actually want testing before it can plan routes intelligently. A ZIP search is the first signal. A credited deposit is stronger signal. A completed visit is the signal that matters most.
The current booking flow is built for that progression. Customers enter a ZIP, pick a testing level, choose a bundle if they want ongoing tracking, and place a deposit that can be credited toward the visit when a host date opens.
What happens after someone reserves
A real testing day needs communication discipline. Customers need confirmation, preparation steps, appointment reminders, exact arrival instructions, and a clear explanation of what the deposit means.
That is why the lifecycle system matters. The app has the shape for welcome messages, abandoned reservation recovery, deposit confirmation, appointment alerts, upgrade offers, and post-visit review requests while keeping transactional and marketing consent separate.
What the result experience should become
The end goal is a customer view that connects DEXA, bloodwork, VO2/RMR, and repeat tracking. A customer should be able to see what changed, what might explain the change, and what to measure next.
For a single visit, that means clarity. For a tracking program, it means continuity: quarterly DEXA, repeated labs or performance metrics where appropriate, trend lines, and a reason to keep engaging with the host location.
Why the deposit matters
The deposit is not just a payment mechanic. It protects the operating day from low-intent bookings and gives VitalScan a better read on real demand.
For the customer, it keeps the reservation simple: put down a credited deposit, choose the right testing level, and get contacted when the route and host date are ready.
