How do host locations earn?

Host locations earn through approved host fees or revenue share from completed self-pay visits. Terms are documented in the host agreement.

What does the host provide?

Hosts provide member promotion, a private room or testing area, arrival and parking instructions, and an event-day point of contact.

Does the host need equipment or medical staff?

No. VitalScan runs the testing workflow. Host locations do not buy equipment, manage deposits, collect medical information, or operate the tests.

Do hosts get paid for medical referrals?

No. Host economics are tied to approved host fees or revenue share from completed self-pay visits, not medical referrals or clinical recommendations.

What is VitalScan?

VitalScan is a mobile health testing company bringing DEXA, bloodwork collection, VO2/RMR performance testing, and progress tracking to partner locations.

What does the deposit do?

The $50 deposit records real interest and is credited toward the selected visit. If timing or host details do not work for the customer, VitalScan follows up before treating the appointment as confirmed.

Do you accept insurance?

VitalScan is direct-pay. Itemized receipts may be available, but insurance reimbursement and HSA/FSA treatment depend on plan rules and tax guidance.

What DEXA equipment does VitalScan use?

VitalScan uses Hologic Discovery DEXA as the working launch equipment standard for body composition scanning.

Is VitalScan a lab?

No. VitalScan does not operate as a clinical laboratory. Blood samples are collected by qualified staff and processed through third-party CLIA/NYS-permitted lab partners.

Is VO2/RMR clinical CPET?

No. VitalScan VO2/RMR is performance testing for training and metabolism insight. It is not clinical CPET and is not emergency or disease-diagnostic care.

Who conducts testing?

VitalScan is responsible for the testing workflow and staffing model, including qualified operators and collection staff appropriate to the service being provided.

Who handles payments?

VitalScan handles deposits and payments through the online booking flow. Host staff do not need to manage payment collection.

What happens if a customer does not show up?

Deposit and cancellation rules are handled through VitalScan terms. No-show protection exists to keep route capacity from filling with low-intent bookings.

Privacy

Do hosts receive individual member results?

No. Host locations do not receive individual health results unless the customer explicitly authorizes sharing.

What can hosts receive?

Hosts may receive operational information needed for event logistics and aggregate demand or attendance information that does not identify individual health results.
