Buying Guide
Quick answers before you reserve.
What the deposit means, how the mobile model works, and what is still being finalized before live route days.
Which option should most people choose?
Full Assessment is the best all-around pick because it combines the DEXA scan with bloodwork and a consult. DEXA-only is better for a lower-cost baseline, and Elite is better for performance testing.
What does the $50 deposit do?
The $50 deposit shows real intent and is credited toward your visit. If the final route timing or host location does not work for you, the team will follow up before treating it as a confirmed appointment.
Where do you operate?
VitalScan is starting with Upstate New York route planning and accepting early demand from any normal U.S. ZIP code.
Is DEXA scanning safe?
DEXA uses a very low radiation dose compared with common diagnostic imaging. Live operation still requires credentialed staff and state-specific equipment compliance.
How long does a visit take?
DEXA-only is about 20 minutes. Full Assessment is about 30 minutes. Elite is about 45 minutes because it adds more testing.
Are you operating a lab?
No. The intended model is blood sample collection with processing through third-party lab partners, not VitalScan operating as a clinical laboratory.
Is VO2 testing clinical CPET?
No. VitalScan is planning performance-focused VO2 and RMR testing. Clinical CPET is a different medical protocol and is not the public offer.
Do you accept insurance?
VitalScan is modeled as a direct-pay service. Itemized receipts can be provided, but HSA/FSA treatment depends on plan rules and qualified tax guidance.
